Thank you for choosing Copper Coast Cleaning. We’re a reliable, local, family-run business based in Camborne. These Terms & Conditions explain how we work and help protect both you and us.
By accepting a quote or booking our services, you agree to the following terms.
1. About Us
Copper Coast Cleaning provides professional exterior pressure washing services throughout Camborne and surrounding areas.

2. Quotes & Pricing
- All quotes are free and no-obligation.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
- Prices are based on the information provided and visible condition of surfaces at the time of quoting.
- If additional contamination, heavy soiling, staining, or surface deterioration is discovered, we will discuss any price adjustments before continuing work.
We reserve the right to decline work if a surface is deemed unsafe or unsuitable for pressure washing.
3. Bookings & Deposits
- A deposit is required to secure your booking date.
- All deposits are non-refundable.
- The deposit secures your allocated time slot and covers scheduling and administrative costs.
- The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the work unless agreed otherwise in writing.
4. Minimum Call-Out Charge
We operate a minimum service charge of £80.
This applies where:
- The total quoted work is below £80
- We attend site but cannot carry out the work due to lack of access
- The area has not been cleared or prepared
- The customer is not present where required
This charge covers travel, setup time, fuel, equipment use and insurance.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change.
- Deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
- A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule.
- Rescheduling is subject to availability.
- Only one reschedule is permitted per booking.
If we arrive and cannot carry out the work due to access issues, unprepared surfaces, or customer absence, the deposit will be retained and the minimum £80 call-out charge may apply.
6. Weather Policy
Pressure washing is weather dependent.
We may reschedule due to:
- Heavy rain
- Frost or freezing conditions
- High winds
- Unsafe working conditions
If we reschedule due to weather, your deposit remains valid and your booking will be moved to the next suitable date.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Before our arrival, customers must:
- Provide safe and clear access to the work area
- Remove vehicles, furniture, plant pots and personal belongings
- Ensure pets and children are kept away from the working area
- Inform us of any known surface damage or fragility
Access to a water supply will be required unless agreed otherwise.
8. Surface Condition & Risk Acknowledgement
Pressure washing can expose pre-existing defects including:
- Cracks
- Loose pointing or mortar
- Flaking paint
- Weak or deteriorated surfaces
- Previously damaged areas
By booking our services, you acknowledge that:
- We are not responsible for pre-existing damage.
- Cleaning may reveal hidden defects that were not visible prior to treatment.
- We will always assess surfaces beforehand and advise where concerns arise.
9. Staining & Results
While we use professional equipment and techniques, we cannot guarantee complete removal of:
- Oil stains
- Rust marks
- Deep-set organic staining
- Permanent discolouration
Results depend on surface age, condition and previous maintenance.
10. Insurance
We are fully insured with public liability cover.
Proof of insurance is available upon request.
11. Payments
We accept:
- Cash
- Bank transfer
Payment is due immediately upon completion of work.
Late payments may result in recovery action and any associated costs being added to the outstanding balance.
12. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the service provided.
We are not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of business or earnings
- Pre-existing structural issues
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
13. Force Majeure
We shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations where this is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather
- Flooding
- Fire
- Illness or injury
- Equipment failure
- Government restrictions
- Acts of God
In such circumstances, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to rearrange your booking.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of booking will apply.
15. Photography for Insurance Documentation
The Client acknowledges and agrees that Copper Coast Cleaning may take photographs and/or video recordings of the property before, during, and after completion of the work strictly for documentation, insurance, and record-keeping purposes. These records are used to document the condition of the property and the work carried out.
All images and recordings will be stored securely and retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for insurance and business record purposes.
Photographs and/or recordings will not be used for marketing, advertising, social media, promotional materials, or any public distribution without the Client’s prior written consent.
